2020年，国家市场监督管理总局、国家标准化管理委员会发布了《电子电气产品中某些物质的测定第6部分：气相色谱-质谱仪（GC-MS）测定聚合物中的多溴联苯和多溴二苯醚》（GB 39560.6-2020）。
GB/T 39560 的本部分规定了用于测定电子电气产品聚合物中的多溴联苯(PBB) 和二苯醚（PBDE) 的一种技术规范和两种资料性附录。气相色谱-质谱(GC-MS) 测试方法适用于测定一溴至十溴联苯(PBB) 和一溴至十溴二苯醚（PBDE）。高效液相色谱技术仅限于测定十溴二苯醚、八溴二苯醚、十溴联苯和八溴联苯工业阻燃剂混合物。尚未评估用这种方法测定其他多溴联苯或多溴二苯醚。
